In an online world full of headlines, captions, and just all around “noise”, there is something about the “purity” of bacon love that cuts through it all…I mean, how much happier would we all be going through the day like this:

One couple showed their love of bacon the only way you can – by getting married to it!
Did you hear about the couple who got married at a “Big Bite Bacon Fest?” They walked down a bacon-printed carpet to the altar, the bride carrying a bacon bouquet and the groom wore a bacon boutonniere. And of course, the bridesmaids had bacon roses!
The wedding guests celebrated by tossing bacon bits instead of rice, and they served a bacon-themed wedding cake! Here is the happy couple cutting the cake…

That’s A LOT of bacon. Still, most are more traditional uses of bacon, like this bacon cheeseburger:
And some take that idea and, shall we say, “tweak it” a bit – leading to a “Bacon Cube Burger!”
But bacon can do so much more…it can take the ordinary, like meatloaf, and make it EXTRAORDINARY:

It’s surprisingly easy to do: just make two small meatloafs, connect them with a center of mac ‘n’ cheese, wrap them up in bacon and bake! What you see is what you’ll eat, and how can you argue with THAT?!?!

Thanks to our friends at GrubGrade.com, I can show you how they spent their Memorial Day – with this bacon-y masterpiece – a “bacon and hot dog” mashup that resembles a turtle!
It’s a full pound of ground beef, stuffed with hot dogs and wrapped in bacon. Yes please!
